Black and White by Ed Monix's Bad Knee

Written by Ronald Allen Bell~

Produced by G-Dawg Trading~

Original piece from the book, Poems for the Ponder, From the Confines of my Mind by the same author~

Lyrics:

red and blue
left and right
is all the choice
that we're supplied

to a side
we all align
then blindly follow
as they lie

it's in our nature
to divide
we must belong
to a chosen side

we argue issues
that are never raised
beyond the walls
of the fools they play

I flip a coin to choose my side
tails I'm left
heads I'm right
it matters not
with whom I align
both puppets strings get pulled
by the same empire

The greedy greenback boar has teeth
that sink much deeper than you'd believe
It has two mask it hides behind
it changes them from time to time

As it moves money left and right
its mask will change and cover sight
of the greedy greenbacks greedy gaze
that goes unseen by the pawns they play

the constitution, bill of rights
are museum pieces they push aside
amend amendments
make wrongs right
for the people
by the people
greenback will decide
